While the band works dilligently on perfecting the set-list for our weekend with Moving Mountains at the end of this month, I've been solidifying dates for the november tour with Eksi Ekso & Burbis. With the amount of e-mails I've sent coordinating plans to ensure everything runs smoothly, I'm surprised I haven't been ailed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Booking our own tours is somewhat of a new phenomenon, and surprisingly we've had more success utilizing this DIY approach than with the booking collective we originally affiliated with.
Along with booking fantastic shows, I'm currently setting us up with studio time in order to crank out the new album I've been patiently waiting to record. All of the material has already been composed, and it'd only be fair to allow everyone to finally listen to what has taken an entire summer to construct.
The new songs, particularly VS. and King Bear, are my favorite material written to date.
